With the ever-increasing need to manage and conserve ecosystem, as well growing business potential for tourism, it is becoming increasingly important address align these two domains. Ecotourism enters scene provide a solution anthropogenic interruptions at ecological tourist sites, with its sustainable maintenance development of both environment local communities closely related natural ecosystems. Tourism one most valuable industries in India world, accounting considerable portion countries' economies. Chamoli hotspots districts India. Along being an ecologically rich zone residing Himalayas, possesses some highest peaks national parks like Nanda Devi valley flowers. The study area also prone various disasters floods, earthquakes, landslides, recent rishi-ganga landslide February 2021. use GIS tools conjunction AHP allows more streamlined holistic approach making scientifically calculated conclusions. We attempted establish prospective zones ecotourism sites our region by considering variety factors that influence those zones, such slope, topographic roughness, elevation, road closeness, river proximity, proximity protected area. area's data information were geospatially analysed build map can be used guide planning resource management operations district.
